Privacy Policy
Last updated July 2, 2026
Tastebundle is built to know as little about you as possible. This page lists everything we store — it's short because the list is short.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, Discord, or Twitch, we store the email address, display name, and avatar image link that provider shares with us. That is the only personal information we hold. We never see or store a password, and we do not keep the provider tokens, so we cannot access your account on those services.
As you use Tastebundle we store your activity: what you shelve, your recommend/fine/pass verdicts, lists you make, votes, boosts, and who you follow.
What we never collect
- Passwords — sign-in is handled entirely by your provider.
- IP addresses, device fingerprints, or location data.
- Analytics or advertising trackers. There are none on this site.
- Private messages or free-form posts — the product has neither.
What's public
Tastebundle is a social product: your profile, shelf, verdicts, lists, and follows are visible to anyone, and aggregate stats (like a title's recommend rate) include your logs. Don't shelve anything you wouldn't want next to your name.
Cookies
One signed session cookie keeps you logged in. No third-party cookies, no cross-site tracking.
Third parties
Media titles, descriptions, and artwork come from public catalogs — TheTVDB, Open Library, MusicBrainz, Cover Art Archive, IGDB, and iTunes previews. Artwork and video embeds load from those services' (and YouTube's) servers, which see your browser's requests the way any image host does. We never sell or share your data with anyone.
Deleting your data
Use the Delete account button on your own profile page. Deletion is immediate and complete — your account, logs, lists, votes, follows, and boosts are removed in one step. No email, no waiting period, no "are you sure" retention tricks.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be called out on the home page.
